1. The public can unite into groups such as Extinction Rebellion that will hold the politicians accountable for making new, mandatory laws that will direct progress towards less greenhouse gas emissions, such as the banning of gas-powered lawn equipment, banning of plastic bags and single-use plastic, more vegan options in restaurants, and other progressive laws.
2. Ramp down greenhouse gas causing activities, such as eating less meat, using public transportation or electric vehicles, stop using gas-powered equipment, and choose a renewable electricity supplier.
