Managed Economy

The idea of a managed economy is that everybody is automatically provided for, all of their basic needs, and the government steers all economic activity. That way, many duplicate efforts are avoided and the economy is run more efficient.

The basic idea is that every person’s existence is noted in a giant computer database. It then becomes the government’s role to feed, educate, house, and provide medical care for all of the people and provide a little money for clothing. Because everyone is entered in the database, food is delivered daily to each residence using electric vehicles so that all the people can survive.

People are given jobs for making this work properly. Everyone who is an adult should complete a survey indicating what they are willing to contribute towards and then the jobs are assigned to the people in order to complete giving the necessities to the people. In addition, some people will also work on additional research towards new technologies and other areas that the government feels appropriate.

Nobody will be forced to work. Only a fraction of the people really need to work in order to keep everybody taken care of. Those people who are not working will be encouraged to work on art projects.

We may also have to impose limits on number of children if we are running out of resources, such as limiting the number of children a person can have to 2. That would be depending on how many people we can actually feed using responsible farming practices such as regenerative agriculture.
